About Us

We write about the story behind the game.

GamingMor is an independent gaming editorial site. No publisher money. No paid placements. Just honest writing about the games, franchises, and creative decisions that shaped the hobby.

Our Mission

Know more, play better.

Most gaming sites cover what's happening. We cover why it happened — the anime that inspired a game, the 25-year franchise history behind a mobile title, the creative decisions that made a world feel real.

We believe understanding a game's origins makes it more enjoyable to play. When you know that Ragnarok Online grew from a Korean manhwa, or that Soul Land started as a web novel read by 40 million people before anyone made a game out of it — the game itself gets richer.

That's what GamingMor is for.

What We Cover

Three things, done properly.

01
Origins

Deep dives into the anime, manhwa, Chinese novels, and franchise histories behind today's biggest mobile games. Each article traces the creative DNA from source material to screen.

02
Comparisons

Side-by-side breakdowns that answer real questions: which game is better for solo players, which has better story, which respects your time. No vague "it depends" — we pick a winner and explain why.

03
Best Lists

Curated recommendations for players who don't want to waste hours on games that don't deliver. Built around specific player types, not algorithm-friendly superlatives.

The Team

Independent. Opinionated. Playing the games.

Ray
Founder & Gaming Writer

Gaming since the early 2000s. Spent years in mobile gaming before deciding the stories behind the games were more interesting than most game journalism covering them. Started GamingMor to write the kind of editorial content that actually helps players understand what they're playing — and why it exists.

Favourite game ever: Ragnarok Online. Current obsession: Honkai: Star Rail's lore. Strongly believes Zhuge Liang is the greatest strategist in any medium, real or fictional.

Editorial Policy

How we stay independent.

No paid coverage

We do not accept money from game publishers or developers in exchange for articles, reviews, or editorial coverage of any kind.

No sponsored opinions

If a game appears in our Best Lists or Comparisons, it's because we think it deserves to be there — not because a brand paid for placement.

Affiliate links, disclosed

We earn commissions on some links. This never influences what we recommend or write. See our full disclosure policy.

Corrections welcome
